Farmingdale State College: Roosevelt Hall
Farmingdale, New York
Roosevelt Hall has served as Farmingdale State College’s Student Activity Center. Built in the 1960s, this 72,600 gross square foot building is in need of extensive rehabilitation. With its intended use and key location, the building warrants an iconic first impression through a state-of-the-art transformation. One of the goals is to reduce operating expenses while increasing the sustainability of the systems. The spaces will be programmed for successful multi-functions, some of which could produce revenue. The future design will be more cohesive with the rest of the campus and contribute to the master plan.
